Jeremiah 31: Thus says the Lord: ‘A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping. Rachel is weeping for her children; she refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.’ Hosea 11: I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. Psalm 72: May desert tribes bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust! May the kings of Tarshish and of the coastlands render him tribute; may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts!

Isaiah 42: I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations. Isaiah 9: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders, and He will be called ‘Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’ Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.
